I give thanks today for childlike wonder.
Her joy over the new fallen snow makes my heart smile.
The glorious giggles that spill from the depths of her while she gallops her trail into the driveway stir appreciation in me for this very moment. A moment I would otherwise detest and see as a cold, icy, nuisance.
This moment makes me understand anew Jesus words, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
She, my littlest child, see so many things that I miss in my rush. She sees beauty and joy and wonder.
I'm doing my best to slow down today and see it too.
